Advantages of maintenance-free batteries

Due to the advantages of its own structure, the loss of lithium battery
electrolyte is very small, and there is basically no need to replenish
distilled water in time during the service cycle. It also has the
characteristics of shock resistance, high temperature resistance, small
size and low self-discharge rate. The use cycle is generally twice that
of ordinary batteries.
2. Because the maintenance-free battery
uses a lead-calcium alloy grid, the amount of water decomposition
generated during charging is low, and the amount of water evaporation is
low. In addition, the shell adopts a sealed structure, and the released
sulfuric acid gas is also very small, so it is different from other
batteries. In contrast, it has the advantages of no need to add any
liquid, less corrosion to the wiring pile head and wire, strong
resistance to overcharging, large starting current, and long power
storage time.
3. The maintenance-free battery only generates a
small amount of gas from the electrolyte under normal charging voltage,
so it is not necessary to add distilled water during the entire use
period. Under normal conditions of the charging system, it is not
necessary to remove it for supplementary charging. However, the specific
gravity of the electrolyte should be checked during maintenance.
