PRODUCT FEATURES
The cork powder is the main component of the casting mold. The cork powder forms an insulating layer between the surface of the mold and the casting alloy, slow down the crystallization of the alloy liquid, so that to make all parts of the casting solidify uniformly. It can also prevent the direct contact between the casting surface and the alloy liquid, so that to prevent mold from sticking to metal, and get surface smooth casting.
The cork powder is yellow light powder. We suggest to use polyvinyl alcohol, bone glue(sodium silicate) formula.
FUNCTION AND MECHANISM
Heat insulation layer is formed between the surface of the mold and the cast alloy, so that the molten alloy flows well in the mold, and lead alloy in the mold will not cause defects of the grid caused by residual gas, play the dual role of heat preservation box ventilation, and organize the lead alloy to bond with the mold.
Because of metal mould heat faster and sheeting bearing rod is relatively small, it is difficult to guarantee full of liquid alloy die under the molten state, also direct contact with the liquid alloy mould will cause demoulding difficulty, so long the cork powder suspension as a release agent spraying within the mold cavity, the heat preservation, heat insulation, lubrication and adjust the thickness uniformity.
